| yeah, goalie is awsome and all that, but it's hard. lots of shuffling and running and lunges in full goalie gear is very tiring....i came home from practice and conked out for three hours. but i didn't fall down today! yesterday (the first day) i tried to run in my gear (NOT EASY!) and did two faceplants. it was lovely; right in front of the jv soccer team getting ready to practice. i am as graceful as a bird......riiiiight....
but the bourne ultimatum was completely and utterly amazing! whatever his fighting style is kicks kung foo so hard it's scary. i want to learn how to block a knife attack with a towel now... | | |
| but when i talk about it it sounds terrible.... so i'll do a comparison so the bad stuff doesn't sound like it drowns out the good stuff
GOOD STUFF!!!! BAD STUFF : (
i passed two distances in archery it rained all week so i didn't pass a level
i passed marksman in riflery! i hit my head on the ceiling fan
i passed marksman first class in riflery!! everybody (including me) got sick
i had an amazing cabin the lake was completely and utterly gross
the lifeguard wore a kilt the lifeguard wore a kilt (i'm not sure how i feel about that one)
we went stargazing it was cold | | |
| grace, krissy and i spent the night at michal's house and watched fruits basket .....those of you who don't know what that is, don't worry about it. just know that it's a teenage girl thing and it rocks. but yeah. then we watched the Holiday which i hadn't seen before, and ate lots of tasty things like pizza and butterfingers and cheese dip and chocolate oreo mousse stuf.
so we stayed up till around three and then fell into sugar comas until this morning....when we went to this awesome place in the central west end called the cupcakery. it's run by the cakery, which is like a huge famous cake factory that makes tons of wedding cakes. so we ate the most delicious cupcakes ever and now i won't eat for two days....i'm full....
and summer school is done!!!! yay!!

| yeah, my mom decided that since joe's girlfriend meghan is coming in town his week and will be using my room, it was high time for an intense deep cleaning of my room. ceeless to say, by the end of the first session, tempers were running high. i hate cleaning. i hate cleaning with my mother especially. she tends to freak out and over-organize so there's no hope of remembering where everything is supposed to go.
but whatever. it should be fun this afternoon though, cus i get to see acorn and mimi and john and richard and peoples!!!!! i haven't seen acorn and richard since school and i miss you guys!!! | | |
| i've bee doing a summer school painting class, which is awesome, and we get to do fun stuff like paint animals at the zoo and landscapes at the botanical gardens (gee, funny how that works out) etc etc etc.
last night i went to the Fox to see the Lion King, which was totally amazing. the costumes were unbelievable! grace will go nuts when she sees them...
so yeah, other than that, i am deadly bored and missing all my school peeps. | | |
